We recently conducted swift water rescue training in coordination with several Oklahoma game wardens. The Lighthorse dive team was very pleased to train with game wardens Zane Arnold, Trey Hale and Garret Beam at the beautiful Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.

We appreciate the partnership and cooperation that made this training a valuable learning experience for everyone involved. The knowledge shared and the friendships developed enable both of our agencies to better serve the public and respond capably in times of need.

On March 26, officers Michael Newsome and Lance Biswell conducted a traffic stop on I-35 and observed a strong odor of ma*****na. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, officers located 100 packages of ma*****na weighing approximately 112.5 pounds. The driver, who did not possess a ma*****na card or transport license, was arrested and trafficking charges were submitted to the Garvin County District Attorneyโ€™s Office.

We commend officers Newsome and Biswell for a safe and professional investigation. Well done, officers!
