🏆 CCSD School Nutrition is excited to announce our 8th Annual Parent Recipe Contest!

🥒 "Be Cool as a Cucumber: A Dill-icious Show Down!"

In our upcoming celebration of October as National Farm to School Month and Cucumber being named the 2026 Fruit of the Month, we're inviting CCSD parents to submit their favorite kid-friendly cucumber recipes for a chance to become a lunch menu star!

🏆 One winning recipe will be selected and featured on the October school lunch menu!

✅ Recipe Requirements:
🥒 Must include fresh cucumber
👩‍🍳 Must be suitable for preparation in a school kitchen
🚫 No fried or grilled recipes
📝 Six ingredients or fewer
😁 Most importantly... HAVE FUN!

📅 Recipe submissions are due September 16 at 4:00 p.m.

Thank you Towne Lake Mahjong Company for the Clark Creek ES STEM PTA donation of 200 dollars! Clark Creek teachers battled other schools to raise money for the PTA, last nights friendly mahjong competition was a blast!
