Town of Acton Launches Ask Isaac, a 24/7 Digital Assistant
Meet Ask Isaac, the Town of Acton’s new digital assistant. Available 24/7 in more than 70 languages, Ask Isaac helps residents find information, navigate Town resources, and submit service requests.
The Town of Acton has launched Ask Isaac, an AI-powered digital assistant designed to make Town services and information easier to access.
Ask Isaac searches the Town’s websites to help answer questions about voting, recycling, permits, taxes, recreation programs, and other municipal services. Residents can access the service by clicking the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the Town website.
Ask Isaac is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The platform can help residents:
Find information on the Town’s websites
Navigate Town services and resources
Identify the appropriate department for additional assistance
Access information in more than 70 languages
Ask Isaac is a virtual assistant, not a Town employee, and cannot directly transfer or escalate requests to Town staff. When personalized assistance is needed, it can provide contact information for the appropriate department. Residents may also call Town Hall at 978-929-6600 or use the Town of Acton Staff Directory to contact a department or staff member directly.
While Ask Isaac is designed to provide accurate, helpful, and timely information, residents are encouraged to confirm information with Town staff when they need specific or personalized assistance.
Acton is among the first municipalities in Massachusetts to implement Citibot’s digital communication platform.
