Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. Today, on this milestone anniversary, we pause to remember the lives lost and the countless families impacted.

The official death toll is listed at 2,977, including 343 firefighters. The real number is hundreds higher, as many first responders, rescue workers, and volunteers have succumbed to illnesses and health problems that stemmed from exposure to the toxic dust and residue at the site of the towers.

As we reflect on this tragedy, we honor the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who showed incredible courage that day and in the weeks beyond. It is this model of selfless courage that drives us forward to be part of a stronger, more united country and community.

You’re running out of time to sign up for our 2nd Annual Golf Outing - Tuesday, September 29 at North Hills!

We also welcome guests who would like to join only for lunch, only for dinner/cocktails, or for chip and putt. Come hang out with us however fits your schedule - we’d love to see you there!

There will be a cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30 pm, followed by dinner, prizes, and an auction from 6:30-8:00 pm.

Sponsorships are available from $200-$2000, or certain in-kind donations toward the auction.

On behalf of our officers and members, we would like to thank Penn Community Bank Foundation for their generous $2,500 grant in support of our members and our mission to serve our community.

Through this funding, we were able to purchase 26 Anderson Rescue Solutions Multi-Loop Straps, allowing us to issue one to every active member of our fire company.

These versatile rescue straps provide our firefighters with an additional tool for victim removal, firefighter rescue, search operations, and other emergency situations where quickly moving or securing a patient may be necessary.

Support from community partners like Penn Community Bank allows us to continue investing in equipment that improves the safety and capabilities of our firefighters while strengthening the service we provide to Cheltenham Township and surrounding communities.
