RECYCLING SITE INFORMATION
The City of Abingdon provides a site for residents to take their recycling, and we are experiencing a problem with people using it for a dumpsite for garbage and items that are NOT considered to be recycling. As with the landscape waste dumpsite, this is a service the City of Abingdon provides for the Abingdon residents that is being abused and we ask that the rules are followed so we are able to continue providing this service to Abingdon residents. Attached are pictures from the recycling company of unacceptable items in the recycling dumpsters and a list of the items that they do accept.

⚾️ Reminder to all teams, players, and families:
We are very thankful to see our fields being used and our community staying active! As we move further into the season, we kindly ask everyone to remember that scheduled games will always take precedence over practices when field space is needed.
If your team is practicing on a field that is needed for a game, please be respectful and help clear the field in a timely and courteous manner so game play can begin on schedule.
Please also keep in mind that if a late game is scheduled on Field C, it may need to be moved to Field B due to lighting needs. We appreciate everyone being flexible and understanding when these adjustments need to happen.
Thank you all for working together, showing good sportsmanship, and helping keep things positive for all players, coaches, and families. ⚾️🧒
