Tiny Treasures Wildlife Rehab. Our main goal is to raise and release those animals that come into our care and to treat and release

03/12/2026

Hello friends! I am in a pickle, I am scheduled to go out of town next week and the person who was going to take care of my winter over squirrels has bailed on me, if you want to come and feed and water squirrels for me it would be greatly appreciated! Nothing too intense and should only take you about 30 minutes. If interested please send me a message.

WE DID IT!!! 🦝🦨🐿️🍼❤️

Because of all of you, we raised the funds needed to purchase this season’s wildlife formula. That means dozens of orphaned babies will have the nutrition they need to grow, heal, and return to the wild where they belong.

I truly cannot thank you enough. Every share, every donation, every word of encouragement made this happen.

While the formula is covered and ordered, rehab season brings many other daily needs — medications, feeding supplies, heating pads, enrichment items, cleaning supplies, and replacement equipment. To help us stay fully prepared, we’ve updated our Amazon Wish List with items that would make a huge difference for the animals in our care.

If you’d still like to support our 2026 season, you can:
🛒 Send an item directly from our Wish List
📦 Share the list with friends who love wildlife
💵 Donate through either our GoFundMe or PayPal (both pinned to the top of the page)
💚 Keep cheering us on

Every single item helps a baby get one step closer to release.

Thank you for being part of this mission. We could not do this without you.

Good Sunday morning friends, 𝐘𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐭! Just a quick update, I am so thankful for all of you who donated, we have surpassed our first goal for the GoFundMe and that was to be able raise enough money to purchase the formula that we need. Our next goal is to get the fundraiser over the $5,000.00 mark so we are able to purchase things like baby bottles, baby wipes, specialized squirrel ni***es, specialized tubes to feed opossums, new heating pads, medications etc. and we also need to replace our microwave. So let's keep the momentum going! ❤️

This is a hard post to write, but I want to be transparent about what this season may look like without additional support.

This season I may be forced to stop rehabilitating certain species due to rising costs—particularly raccoons, which are my largest expense. Each year I care for 25–30 orphaned baby raccoons, and formula alone costs nearly $3,000.

My GoFundMe has raised $720 so far, which I’m deeply grateful for, but to take advantage of the manufacturer’s one-time annual formula sale, I must have the remaining funds by February 15. This sale is critical—it’s the only way I can offset the otherwise overwhelming cost of feeding these babies through the season.

Without this funding, I will have no choice but to limit or eliminate raccoon intake this year. Your donations directly ensures these animals receive proper nutrition and a second chance at release back into the wild. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-save-orphaned-wildlife-this-spring

I would like to thank those who have already donated, it is much appreciated. So far we have only raise 4.2% of the funds needed for this rehab season so I am resharing our GoFundMe. 100% of the donations goes to purchase formula, food, medical supplies and items used on a daily basis for those in our care. Please consider donating and if you can't donate then please share this with your friends. Thanks so much!

Hello everyone, we have been quiet lately but know that we are still working hard, our permits have been renewed for another 2 years and we are gearing up for the new season. We will be doing our beginning of the year fundraiser so we can purchase our formula, the breakdown for this is:
Raccoon $242.15 X 12 = $2,905.00
Squirrel $237.30 X 2 = $ 474.60
Skunk $ 98.05 X 1 = $ 98.05
Total $𝟑,𝟒𝟕𝟕.𝟔𝟓

This is just formula, to carry us out for the whole year we will need another $4,600.00. This is for full capacity, so the less money we raise the fewer animals we are able to help. If you would like to donate now our PayPal is pinned to the top of the page or you can visit our website @ www.tinytreasuresrehab.com

My start in wildlife rehabilitation.

My name is Trish Cantler, I spent 8 years as an animal control officer for Harford County Government. I loved my job but every time I picked up a baby that needed transport to one of our local rehab centers something kept pulling me towards wildlife. The opportunity presented itself where I could quit work, I volunteered at Susquehannock Wildlife where I assisted in the rescue and transport of injured wildlife and in 2015 on an early Sunday morning I went with some friends to volunteer at Wildlife Rescue Inc. after that morning I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I spent 3 years under the tutelage of Barb Connor at Wildlife Rescue, I also spent some time volunteering for Kathleen Woods at Phoenix Wildlife Center, these two women supported me and encouraged me to follow my dreams. Two years ago I received my master wildlife rehabilitation permit and this year I founded Tiny Treasures Wildlife Rehabilitation.
