At Abingdon Fire Company - MD, dedication to service often runs through generations. This month, we're proud to highlight the Autry family, whose commitment to helping others has made a lasting impact on our organization and community.
π Cameron joined AFC in August 2025 and has recently earned his Black Stripe. Currently a high school junior, Cameron plans to pursue a career in the fire service with the Baltimore County Fire Department. During his senior year, he will participate in dual enrollment through Harford Community College and Harford Technical High School. Outside of school, Cameron enjoys playing football, working out, and spending time at the firehouse pursuing his passion for firefighting.
π Patty joined AFC in August 2001 and has dedicated more than two decades to serving the company and community. She completed the paramedic program in 2003 and served as an EMT/Paramedic for 15 years. Since 2002, Patti has served as AFC's Human Resources Manager.
π Keith joined AFC in August 2001 and served in numerous leadership roles throughout his time with the company, including EMS Lieutenant, Fire Lieutenant, and Captain. A certified EMT and firefighter, Keith also served with the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, retiring as a Sergeant in 2019 after a distinguished law enforcement career.
πΊπΈ Kevin (not pictured) was a member of the first Harford County Cadet Program. Following high school graduation, he continued his service to others by joining the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served from 2010 to 2015.
The Autry family's dedication to public service, leadership, and community involvement is a shining example of the values that make Abingdon Fire Company strong. Thank you for your years of commitment and for inspiring the next generation of first responders.
