The Aberdeen Fire Rescue Department responds to approximately 1,800 requests for emergency assistance each year within the Town of Aberdeen and the fire protection district which surrounds the town in Moore and Hoke Counties out of 2 stations. The Aberdeen Fire Department also provides emergency medical services in conjunction with Moore Coun
ty EMS and Hoke County EMS. We have agreements to provide automatic aid with all fire departments within Moore and Hoke Counties, along with Fort Bragg and also provide mutual aid to requesting departments in surrounding counties. The Aberdeen Fire Rescue Department is comprised of twenty three full time staff, eight part time staff, and over forty volunteer members. The officer structure is comprised of volunteer and career staff officers who manage the department. Our personnel are highly committed to life safety and property conservation through continuing education and advancement in technology as it applies to the fire service. The Mission Statement of the Aberdeen Fire Department is to protect and enhance the high quality of life for the citizens and visitors of the Town of Aberdeen from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies. Our goal is to provide a model Fire Protection program through an innovative, proactive, and cost-efficient approach to emergency response, fire code application and public fire education. Station 41 is located at 800 Holly St. and Station 42 is located at 10861 NC 211 Hwy.
