🚒💙 April is Autism Awareness Month 💙🚒
This April, our department proudly stands in support of Autism Awareness Month—a time to recognize, understand, and celebrate individuals on the autism spectrum and the families who support them every day.
As first responders, we are committed to serving everyone in our community with compassion, patience, and respect. We understand that emergency situations can be especially overwhelming for individuals with autism, and we continue to train and grow so we can better meet their unique needs.
We encourage our community to join us in promoting acceptance, inclusion, and kindness—not just this month, but every day. A little understanding can make a big difference. 💙
If your family has specific needs or would like to connect with our department to help us better serve you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you.
