What a State Fair for Brown County 4-H!

The South Dakota State Fair is an opportunity for our 4-H members to put months of learning, hard work, and dedication into action, and Brown County had so much to be proud of!

Our members represented Brown County through Beef, Dairy Cattle, Goats, Sheep, Swine, Small Animal, Youth-in-Action contests, and Display Exhibits. Along the way, they earned an impressive list of accomplishments, from Grand and Reserve Champion honors to showmanship awards, skillathon placings, breed champions, and more.

While we love celebrating the ribbons and banners, we are even more proud of the hard work, responsibility, knowledge, confidence, and determination our 4-H members demonstrated along the way.

To every Brown County 4-H member who participated at the State Fair: CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you for representing Brown County 4-H so well. We are incredibly proud of all you accomplished!

26-27 Cloverbud Adventure RSVP!

We're excited to kick off a new year of Brown County Cloverbuds! Join us for a fun, hands-on evening where kids can meet new friends, try something new, and see what Cloverbuds is all about. New families are welcome! Hope to see you there!

🍀 Help build brighter futures for young people through 4-H.

Starting today through Oct. 11, guests can round up their purchase at Casey's or make a donation online to support local 4-H programs. Casey's will also match guest donations up to $150,000.

Every contribution helps more young people access opportunities that prepare them to be .

🧀 Just a few days left to order Dimock Dairy cheese through Brown County 4-H's fall fundraiser! Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Brown County 4-H Community Building.

Contact a Brown County 4-H member, message our page, or give our office a call to order cheese before the holiday season! Cheese boxes will be in Aberdeen by November 8.
