💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Domestic violence can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, support survivors, and remind those experiencing domestic violence that they are not alone and help is available.

The Aberdeen Police Department is proud to recognize Safe Harbor and the important services they provide to individuals and families in our community impacted by domestic violence.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, we encourage you to reach out for help. Resources like Safe Harbor, law enforcement, and other community partners are here to provide support and assistance.

Together, we can raise awareness, support survivors, and help build a safer community.

Thank you so much to all who joined us for our first Bingo night! We had an amazing turnout and raised just over $2,000.

We are so grateful for The Den Bar & Grill for hosting us, donating prizes, and for accommodating us.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Safe Harbor will be at Northern State University on October 1st & 2nd from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM!

Stop by during your lunch hour to say hi to our advocate, learn more about Safe Harbor and the services we provide, and get your nails painted with purple nail polish💜💅

💜 We are so excited to share that we have had the opportunity to collaborate with Jared Pearson at State Farm in Aberdeen for a donation drive throughout the month of October!

We are so grateful to Jared and his team for supporting Safe Harbor and helping us collect much-needed items for the survivors and families we serve. Every donation makes a difference, and we truly appreciate the continued support from our community. 💜
