Over the weekend the 229th Army Band provided musical support to the 251st Pass and Review for the 1-175th Infantry Regiment at the historic Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore. The 229th is the hardest working unit in the MDARNG, supporting numerous ceremonies, public events, conducting good will missions for our organization annually.

This morning we kicked off the Company Commander First Sergeant Pre-Command Course on Edgewood. We were honored to have BG Andrew Collins, Commander MDARNG, and CSM Patrick Metzger, CSM MDARNG, address the class on their expectations and vision for the organization. This course is designed to give future company commanders and first sergeants the tools they need to be successful in their future assignments.
