As we enter the summer months, we wanted to remind the community OPSEC should be practiced prior to and during your summer vacation plans.

What does this look like:
• Not sharing any sensitive details like days you and your family will be away
• Not checking into a location on social media or posting photos of your vacation while on vacation
• Do keep your home looking lived in – indoor/exterior lighting on a timer or having a neighbor take your mail

The APG Strong Competition 🥇🏋️‍♀️ results are in! Congratulations to the following winners:

Male over 200 pound weight class:
Kody Wykoff: Bench at 370 pounds, deadlift at 605 pounds
Kyle Gorham: Squat at 585 pounds

Male under 200 pound weight class:
Faheem Muhammed: Squat at 425 pounds, bench at 375 pounds, and deadlift at 610 pounds

Female
Dalyn Metts: Squat at 185 pounds, bench at 145 pounds, and deadlift at 275 pounds

The Directorate of Emergency Services recently hosted a memorial service for four year old Military Working Dog Don who passed away in April 2026. In MWD Don's over three year career as a dedicate patrol explosive detector dog, he served at Fort Irwin and APG touching and protecting countless lives.

MWD Don was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and left behind a legacy of strength, displaying courage, dedication, and sacrifice safeguarding the community. He greatly enhanced force protection and installation security during his service.

⚠️ Shore Park Pool Opening Postponed ⚠️

Due to the forecasted weather and cooler temperatures, Aberdeen Proving Ground MWR's Shore Park Pool scheduled to open Monday, May 25, has been postponed. The pool will now open Saturday, May 30. The delay in opening ensures the health and safety of the APG community. Thank you for your understanding.
