The annual Juneteenth celebrations are about to kick off in downtown Abbeville! With a parade, food trucks, vendors, and more, it’s sure to be a day of fun, culture, and education.

Juneteenth is hosted by Following in our Ancestors Footsteps to recognize the emancipation of enslaved individuals in 1865 and is a new federally recognized day of remembrance.
