Our property tax system is currently unavailable due to internet outages, although one computer remains operational for motor vehicle services. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while IT addresses the issue.

The 2025 Tax Notices were mailed out as of December 4th. This year, the due date has been rescheduled from December to January 31st.

2025 Property Tax bills have not been mailed yet due to some delays. We hope bills will go out by the end of November at the latest, with the due date being the end of January. Please keep a watch on our page for any updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Whereas we are saddened to see any of our staff members depart to pursue their dreams, we are fortunate that God has blessed us with a new addition. I would like to introduce our new tax/tag clerk, Mindy Layfield. After reviewing all resumes and applications, I consistently found myself drawn to this one, and I believe she will be a valuable asset in serving our citizens in Wilcox County. She possesses a kind demeanor and exhibits stability in her commitments. Please join me in welcoming Mindy when you encounter her, either by phone or in person, at our office. She is scheduled to commence her duties on September 2nd. Again Mindy welcome to our team as Pearlie and I are excited to be on this journey with you.
