He speaks French, Swahili on top of Luganda and English. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK). His other studies are in the fields of Marketing, Administration and Training. George has 25 years of local and International working experience in the Oil Industry. He was a manger in Caltex and Total Oil Companies and held various positions in finance marketing and
management. Ten years of his working experience was spent in France, Belgium, Nigeria, Rwanda, Mayotte, Mauritius, Zambia and others where he worked as an expatriate manager and director of TOTAL International. Kagimu has held several leadership positions in Churches, schools, local government and motorsport. He was also president of Ugandans in Zambia and Nigeria. Rtn George plays chess, pool table, swimming and he is a retired motor rally driver and enthusiastic. He also made a banji jump (120 meters) into Victoria Falls. George Kagimu is the proprietor and Managing Director of Festino Cite. He also has businesses in commercial tree planting, real estate, restaurants and hospitality, plus consultancy work in petroleum business. George kagimu currently is the Mayor Mukono Municipality.
