Bright Star Women's Progressive Organisation Improving the Economic, Social and Political well being of women, children and families all over Uganda through Music Drama and start -up capital .

WHAT WE DO
This project helps women become economically independent and seeks equal rights in their home and community. By forming production groups, women receive moral support and the opportunity to share tools and resources. We help women identify suitable activities such as farming or making local crafts. Once they have chosen their most suitable income stream, we help them purchase the right

tools and equipment at the best price. We also help them raise the profile and recognition of the production group, to gain recognition and be accepted as equals. By providing education and support to establish their vocation, then on-going support and training we help ensure they have all the skills and resources they require to continue making their own income in the future. WHAT WE AIM TO ARCHIVE
Bright star women's progressive organization will help women establish themselves as production groups. These groups will help reduce the number of families living in poverty by providing an alternative source of income. It will promote gender equality and offer women social and economic independence. Awareness raising activities will educate local society and help identify the difficulties faced by rural women living in poverty, and how they can be overcome. It will also provide the opportunity for women to access previously unavailable credit. We therefor welcome those who are willing to support us to come in and God will bless them has it is written in Deuteronomy15:10, Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.
