In celebration of World Environment Day, we shine a spotlight on the Greening My School Campaign, which is promoting climate-responsive and sustainable schools through teacher-led environmental activities linked to the curriculum.

With funding from the , over 89,982 assorted tree seedlings have been distributed to 43 schools in the West Nile region to tackle climate change, restore green spaces, and nurture environmental stewardship among young people.

Through collective action, our choices today can create a greener, healthier, and more resilient future for all.

A mother should have at least 3 ultrasounds to detect any abnormalities during her pregnancy.

A single ultrasound scan in some private clinics costs up to UGX 200,000.

For many families, that cost is simply out of reach.

That is why the graduation of 10 newly trained sonographers matters.

Together with Ministry of Health- Uganda, we have supported frontline health workers from Busoga and Rwenzori to receive specialised ultrasound training from Ernest Cook University to help bring lifesaving maternal health services closer to communities.

Already, over 10,300 mothers have accessed ultrasound scans in Health Centres supported by these sonographers, reducing unnecessary referrals and easing the financial burden on families.

Early detection saves lives.

And sometimes, access starts with having the right person in the right health facility.

Winding up the World Menstrual week as it should be.

Unstoppable. Confident. Period.

When girls have the right support and safe spaces at school, this is the energy they bring. We love to see it.

Have a wonderful weekend ahead !

Eid Mubarak.

As we celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day this week and schools reopen, parents remember Her confidence starts at home. 🏠

When you provide the basics (Pads, Soap etc) you aren't just managing hygiene but armoring your daughter against menstrual stigma.

Don't let a lack of essentials interrupt her education. Lets talk to our daughters, prepare them, support them, and provide the essentials they need.

Be the first person to remind her that her period is not a weakness and not a source of shame.

Be her safe place. Be her support. Be her champion.
