Youth of The Twenty First Century Organization (YOTTCO) is a Youth led community organization in Mutundwe, Lubaga Division established in March 2012 to empower vulnerable urban youth of different nationalities including refugees to become self-reliant and effectively participate in development.The organization trains youth in relevant and competitive entrepreneurship skills to engage i
n gainful self-employment and live a meaningful life. Vision: “A society where youth are valued, respected and live a prosperous life”
Mission: “To create opportunities for vulnerable urban youth to develop trade, financial resource base and entrepreneurship skills to be self-reliant and healthy”. Values: Respect, Care, Integrity, Transparency and Professionalism. Objectives include
1) To initiate income generating activities that will employ and improve welfare of youth.
2) To promote entrepreneurship skills development among youth.
3) To facilitate access to sexual reproductive health rights of young people.
4) To promote youth talents through sports, art, music dance and drama.
5) To facilitate access to youth friendly financial services.
6) To network and collaborate with development organizations with similar objectives. Target group
The organisation targets youth aged 15-35 years who include: Unemployed out of school youth, refugee youth, students, youth with no formal education, unemployed graduates and child headed households
