Че́хия (чеш. Česko, МФА (чешск.): [ˈʧɛskɔ], официально[6] — Че́шская Респу́блика (аббревиатура — ЧР); чеш. Česká republika (аббревиатура — ČR), МФА (чешск.): [ˈʧɛskaː ˈrɛpuˌblɪka]) — государство в Центральной Европе. Граничит с Польшей на севере (длина границы — 796 км), Германией — на северо-западе и западе (810 км), Австрией — на юге (466 км) и Словакией — на востоке (252 км)[7]. Общая протяжённость границы — 2324 км. Площадь — 78 866 км².

Современная Чехия образовалась в результате распада Чехословакии (Бархатный развод) 1 января 1993 года. Страна включает исторические области — Богемию, Моравию и часть Силезии. Унитарное государство. Относится к развитым странам. Столица Прага — туристическая достопримечательность и крупнейший город страны.

С 12 марта 1999 года Чехия — член НАТО, с 1 мая 2004 года — член Европейского союза.

It was on them that the postmen of antiquity were guided, delivering messages to the addressee, because the numbering of houses was introduced here only from 1770.

Mala Strana consists of literally only sights that must be seen in order to fully comprehend the charm of old Prague. There are 37 magnificent palaces here alone, the most remarkable of which is the Wallenstein Palace with magnificent parks and gardens with grottoes, greenhouses and exotic birds. Now the Senate of the Czech Republic is located here. On weekends, the palace is open for inspection.

Charles Bridge, which connects Malaya Strana with other parts of the city, is a cult place in Prague, it is always crowded here. The bridge is decorated with 30 unique sculptures and the Old Town Tower, a magnificent example of medieval architecture.

The Velkoprzevorsky Mill and the Church of St. Lawrence are always under the guns of cameras - the venue for the Prague Spring festival.
