Nalanda University is organizing an International Seminar titled “India on the World Stage: Soft Power, Policy & Youth Diplomacy” from March 26–28, 2026, in Rajgir, Bihar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.

Young scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and youth leaders below the age of 35 years are invited to submit original research papers (2000-2500 words) based on the themes given below, which are illustrative of the scope of the seminar and are not meant to be exhaustive:

1. Youth diplomacy for a sustainable and just world; youth climate advocacy

2. Cultural and educational diplomacy in the Indo-Pacific

3. Role of youth in humanitarian and environmental diplomacy

On 26 Jan 2026, Embassy hosted a National Day reception at Fairmont Grand Hotel, Kyiv, bringing together Ambassadors, dignitaries, and members of Indian community in Ukraine. The event was attended by more than 250 guests. H.E. Mr. Oleksandr Mischenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was the Chief Guest. In his Address, Amb. Ravi Sankar highlighted the salient features of vibrant India, including its constitution and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and India-Ukraine relations. A cultural programe (03 Indian dances) showcasing India's vibrant culture was also presented in front of dignitaries.
