The Ring Video Doorbell Pro works with Amazon Alexa to send announcements to your Echo-compatible device whenever someone presses the doorbell outside or motion is detected. It allows you to hear and see visitors with two-way talk, which means better overall security against potential break-ins.
You can use your tablet or PC to talk to and view people on the other side of the door. The only downside is that it requires hardware installation since it needs to be connected to existing doorbell wires.
The device works with iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows 10. It supports up to 1080p video feeds so you’ll see with great clarity who’s trying to get in. And should it get stolen, Ring says it’ll give you a replacement completely free of charge.
