4 years of freedom for Mrs. White 🦁💛

At 24 years old, Mrs. White is our oldest and most extraordinary lioness — rescued after years in South Africa’s breeding industry, where she was used to produce cubs for profit; only to find peace after her previous home was shut down.

She’s fierce, wise, resilient… and a cancer fighter who continues to defy every odd with her strength and grace. 🌿

After a lifetime of exploitation, she now spends her days in peace — soaking up the sun, enjoying gentle enrichment, and living the retirement she always deserved.

But caring for a senior lion — especially one bravely battling cancer — takes constant love and support. 💛

If you’d like to celebrate her 4th rescue anniversary, please consider donating toward her ongoing care and comfort. Every contribution helps give Mrs. White the best possible life in her golden years.

Three years ago, Mir and Simba arrived at our Simbonga Sanctuary after escaping the horrors of war-torn Ukraine. Their past was filled with fear, uncertainty, and a fight for survival. They were disoriented, under immense stress, and carried the invisible scars of conflict.

Today, they are thriving under the African sun. Mir’s golden mane glows with health, and Simba has grown into a confident, relaxed lion who finally knows peace. They now spend their days lounging in the grass, enjoying the sun, and living as lions should — safe, respected, and free from exploitation.

But their story doesn’t end here. Sanctuary means forever. Mir and Simba will need expert care, nourishing food, veterinary support, and a safe home for the rest of their lives — which could be another 10–15 years.

Your support makes this possible. By giving towards their lifelong care, you’re ensuring Mir and Simba never again face fear or uncertainty — only the dignity and love they deserve.

🌍💛 Donate today to help us provide Mir, Simba, and all our big cats with the lifetime of safety they’ve fought so hard for.
