Twenty enthusiastic students from the Indian School Dar es Salaam visited the High Commission of India today and volunteered to support the registration process for the upcoming International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 celebrations, scheduled to be held on 21 June 2026 at the Gymkhana Club, Dar es Salaam.
The students were briefed by the High Commissioner, who appreciated their spirit of volunteerism and commended their eagerness to contribute to this global celebration of wellness and harmony. He highlighted the significance of International Day of Yoga as a movement that brings people together beyond boundaries, fostering unity, mindfulness, and healthy living.
The High Commission looks forward to celebrating International Day of Yoga 2026 with the vibrant participation of the Tanzanian and Indian communities, reflecting the spirit of togetherness embodied by yoga.
