Ashfaina Omari Ali, a 9-year-old Tanzanian girl in Zanzibar, returned to school healthy after a life-saving 4-hour surgery performed by the 35th Chinese medical team. The complex procedure successfully treated her severe congenital middle ear cholesteatoma. “I don't have the words to thank the Chinese doctors,” her father Omari said. "They have rekindled the life of my daughter.”
