BPK RI and NAOT Strengthen Institutional Cooperation and Knowledge Exchange 🇮🇩🇹🇿
The visit of the delegation from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI), led by the Chairperson of BPK RI, Dr. Isma Yatun, to Tanzania marks an important milestone in strengthening institutional cooperation and promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices in public sector auditing.
During the visit, the BPK RI delegation and representatives of the National Audit Office of Tanzania (NAOT), led by the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) of Tanzania, Mr. Charles E. Kichere, visited the Makumbusho Village Museum and the National Museum, gaining deeper insights into Tanzania’s rich history and cultural heritage.
The visit also included discussions aimed at enhancing institutional capacity and sharing experiences in public sector auditing. These engagements culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, reflecting the shared commitment of BPK RI and NAOT to foster mutual learning and strengthen sustainable partnerships.
The MoU was signed by the Chairperson of BPK RI and the Controller and Auditor General of Tanzania, reaffirming the commitment of both institutions to advancing accountability, promoting good governance, and deepening cooperation between Indonesia and Tanzania.
