While thousands gathered across Taipei to talk about chips, infrastructure, and what's next — 60+ women leaders and allies came together to ask a different question.
Who will actually shape the future of ?
Co-hosted with , the room held leaders from policy, law, technology, manufacturing, startups, and government. Every layer of the ecosystem, in one conversation. Everyone came from a different seat at the table, yet the same questions kept finding their way to the center of it.
As our Representative 𝐁𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬 noted, Taiwan and the Netherlands share more than supply chains. We share a belief that innovation thrives when diverse perspectives are included, and that international cooperation is essential to building an AI future that is both competitive and responsible.
-𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 of 𝐀𝐱𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐈 said that Taiwan has long been indispensable to global technology, yet often underrepresented in the global conversation. The next challenge isn't only building great technology but learning to tell our own stories and shape the narrative.
-𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐠 of 𝐀𝐒𝐌𝐋 spoke about combining commercial judgment with geopolitical awareness and the fluency to work across cultures and markets. The line she shared from Wiwynn Chair Emily Hong stayed with the room: "We need to be the architect, not just the enabler or the ex*****on engine. If there's one thing the Taiwan ecosystem should do, it's to invite ourselves to the table — and help define the architecture."
𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚-𝐇𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠 of 𝐖𝐢𝐰𝐲𝐧𝐧 echoed the thought in her own words: "Align globally. Adapt locally." She spoke candidly about Wiwynn's expansion into the US, where the habits, labor laws, and workplace norms of one country don't translate cleanly into another. Leading across borders, she reminded us, is less about playbooks and more about practice — the daily, deliberate work of listening, adapting, and earning trust on someone else's terms.
Looking ahead, diverse talent and international collaboration will be essential to shaping an innovative, responsible, and inclusive future. The Netherlands looks forward to continuing to strengthen cooperation with partners in Taiwan.
