The Investment Department of IETO Taipei attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Taipei AMPA & E-Mobility Taiwan on April 14, 2026, which is part of the 360° Mobility Mega Shows organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) from April 14–17, 2026, at TaiNEX 1, Taipei. The exhibition brings together three major shows—Taipei AMPA, E-Mobility Taiwan, and Autotronics Taipei—into one comprehensive platform showcasing the latest developments in the global mobility industry. Carrying the theme “Empower Every Move,” the event highlights the shift toward more connected, efficient, and sustainable mobility systems.

The exhibition features around 900 companies from 16 countries/regions , presenting innovations in electric vehicles (EV), autonomous technologies, and the integration of AI- and ICT-based systems . One of the highlights is the smart cockpit industry chain, which includes visual modules, display systems, sensors, AI computing, and automotive chips, with participation from companies such as Pegatron, AUO, WNC, and E-Lead, reflecting the strong integration of Taiwan’s automotive and technology industry ecosystem.

On this occasion, The Investment Department of IETO Taipei also visited several potential company booths, including Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd., Pegatron Corp. along with its supply chain network, as well as other companies such as Tatung Co., Ltd., Man Zai Industrial Co., Ltd., and Hydrogen Valley Power Co., Ltd., to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment in Indonesia.

🌴 Indonesia’s palm oil industry is calling for stronger global trade diplomacy. The Indonesian Palm Oil Association highlights rising trade barriers, including the EU Deforestation Regulation by the European Union, which challenge Indonesian exports.
Industry leaders are also pushing to diversify markets to countries like India and Pakistan while strengthening the global recognition of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil.

🌴 印尼棕櫚油產業正呼籲加強全球貿易外交。Indonesian Palm Oil Association 指出，全球貿易壁壘持續上升，包括 European Union 推行的 EU Deforestation Regulation，對印尼棕櫚油出口帶來挑戰。
業界同時推動市場多元化，拓展至 India 與 Pakistan 等國家，並加強推廣 Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil 永續認證的國際認可度。

The Investment Department of IETO Taipei held a meeting with ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) and Deloitte Taiwan at the IETO Taipei office. ITRI is a world-renowned applied technology research institution established in 1973, playing a strategic role in advancing industrial development through research and development (R&D). It has also contributed significantly to the global semiconductor industry and the incubation of major companies such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC).

During the meeting, it was also conveyed that Deloitte has been appointed as the implementing partner for the Taiwan Desk project under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), which provides support and services to Taiwanese investors. The Investment Division welcomed the potential for collaboration with ITRI and Deloitte, particularly in promoting Indonesia’s investment opportunities and expanding outreach to prospective investors in Taiwan.

駐台北印尼經濟貿易代表處（IETO Taipei）投資部門於該處辦公室與工業技術研究院（ITRI）執行團隊（Deloitte Taiwan）舉行會議。ITRI成立於1973年，為享譽全球的應用技術研究機構，在透過研究與發展（R&D）推動產業發展方面扮演關鍵角色，並對全球半導體產業的發展以及培育台灣積體電路製造公司（TSMC）與聯華電子公司（UMC）等大型企業做出重要貢獻。

會中亦說明，德勤已被指定為台灣經濟部（MOEA）「台灣投資窗口（Taiwan Desk）」專案之執行單位，負責為台灣投資人提供支援與相關服務。投資部門對與ITRI及德勤之潛在合作表示歡迎，特別是在推廣印尼投資機會及擴大對台灣潛在投資人的資訊觸及方面。

The Investment Department of IETO Taipei attended the Yushan Forum 2026, organized by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF), on 16–17 March 2026 in Taipei. This annual forum discussed developments in the economy, technology, and opportunities for cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, with a focus on strategic issues such as semiconductors, green energy, and artificial intelligence (AI).

During various discussion sessions, the importance of market diversification and strengthening economic cooperation among countries was emphasized. This aligns with Taiwan’s efforts to expand investment partnerships through the New Southbound Policy (NSP). On this occasion, IETO Taipei also participated by organizing a booth to promote Indonesia’s tourism potential and investment opportunities. In addition, the Investment Department provided information on Investment Project Ready-to-Offer (IPRO) and offered consultation services regarding business procedures in Indonesia.

駐台北印尼經濟貿易代表處（IETO Taipei）投資部門出席了由台灣亞洲交流基金會（TAEF）於2026年3月16日至17日在臺北舉辦的玉山論壇（Yushan Forum 2026）。本年度論壇探討了印太地區經濟、科技發展及合作機會，並聚焦於半導體、綠色能源（green energy）及人工智慧（AI）等關鍵議題。

在多場討論中，與會者強調市場多元化及強化各國經濟合作的重要性。此亦呼應台灣透過新南向政策（NSP）拓展投資夥伴關係的努力。此次，駐台北印尼經濟貿易代表處亦透過設置展位參與論壇，推廣印尼的觀光潛力及投資機會。此外，投資部門亦提供「投資即備項目」（Investment Project Ready-to-Offer, IPRO）相關資訊，並提供有關在印尼投資程序與商機的諮詢服務。

The Investment Department of IETO Taipei participated in the 2026 Tainan Autoshow, organized by Commercial Times from January 29 to February 1, 2026 at ICC Tainan, Tainan, with the support of the Tainan City Government Economic Development Bureau. As one of the largest automotive exhibitions in Southern Taiwan, the event served as a key platform for industry stakeholders, manufacturers, and the public to connect and explore the latest developments in the sector.

The exhibition featured more than 100 companies with a total of 520 booths, all fully occupied, and attracted tens of thousands of visitors, including industry stakeholders, entrepreneurs, automotive communities, and the public. Several renowned automotive and motorcycle brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW participated in the event. The lineup was further strengthened by prominent Taiwanese brands, including Gogoro, SYM, Kymco, Aeon Motor, PGO, and eMOVING.

駐台北印尼經濟貿易代表處投資處參與由 Commercial Times 主辦之 2026 Tainan Autoshow，活動於 2026 年 1 月 29 日至 2 月 1 日在 ICC Tainan舉行，並獲得 Tainan City Government Economic Development Bureau 支持。作為南臺灣規模最大的汽車展覽活動之一，本次展覽成為產業相關人士、製造商與民眾交流互動及探索產業最新發展的重要平台。

本次展覽共有超過 100 家企業參展，設置 520 個攤位且全數額滿，吸引數萬名來自產業界、企業界、汽車社群及一般民眾前來參觀。多個知名汽車與機車品牌參與本次活動，包括 Toyota、Lexus、Honda、Nissan、Mazda、Mercedes-Benz 及 BMW。此外，亦有多家臺灣知名品牌共襄盛舉，包括 Gogoro、SYM、Kymco、Aeon Motor、PGO 及 eMOVING。
