PNC 2023 Annual Conference and Joint Meetings

Main Theme: Sea Change: Renewal, Reform and Resolve in Global Arts, Sciences, and Business
Dates: November 3rd-5th (Friday-Sunday)
Venue: The University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan

It is our great pleasure to announce that the PNC 2023 Annual Conference and Joint Meetings (PNC 2023) will take place at the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan, from November 3rd -5th (Friday-Sunday), 2023. The main theme is Sea Change: Renewal, Reform and Resolve in Global Arts, Sciences, and Business.

創立至今28年的PNC昨日展開，
「國際合作是推展數位遺產永續的關鍵成功因素」中研院院長廖俊智表示，
此次會議集結環太平洋國家的研究機構與學者，
共同思索數位遺產的永續管理、加值應用和開放研究等課題，
透過區域性的整合與協同合作，
致力使數位時代的全球社會邁向更具人文視野的方向。

明日上午11：10，將透過臉書直播舉辦圓桌會議，
由臺灣大學項潔主任主持，
邀請聯合美國加州大學柏克萊分校斯塔東亞圖書館館長周欣平（Peter X. Zhou）、行政院科技會報辦公室副執行秘書李育杰、藍星球資訊股份有限公司總經理宋浩，
分別從學術、政策與產業三大層面，
探討數位文化遺產與數位治理永續問題。

After a one-year hiatus, the 27th Pacific Neighborhood Consortium Annual Conference and Joint Meetings (PNC 2021) will return this year from September 28 to 30. The conference has specially invited renowned Buddhism scholar Lewis Lancaster, modern digital heritage advocate Halina Gottlieb, and Taiwan's Digital Minister Audrey Tang as its keynote speakers!

PNC 2021 will be hosted by Academia Sinica. The conference theme will be "Sustainable Digital Heritage." Due to the uncertainty of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be held through online videoconferencing for the first time this year. We call on scholars and experts from around the world to congregate virtually and together investigate how we can sustainably preserve cultural heritage and civilization in this age of digital sharing.

【News: PNC 2021 Call for Papers and Posters】✨✨✨

Papers & Posters Abstract Submission Deadline is May 31, 2021!

The author notification will be sent on June 30th. Authors are invited to submit an anonymous 6-8 pages technical paper manuscript in double-column IEEE format (The style guide is included in the downloadable templates on the PNC2021 website). The proceedings of the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library for indexing. Detailed topics of interest can be found in the attached poster.

If any of your researches is related to the aforementioned topics of interest, you are welcome to share your research and experience with the conference participants. Please share this information with your colleagues and researchers.
