Our club’s Fellowship Night was another great evening of camaraderie and fun at the Zabwer Restaurant on 2 June. Our monthly fellowship nights aways provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for Rotarians and guests to congregate and discuss our diverse range of community service projects for the stakeholders in our region, as well as upcoming activities and events. It also provides an informal opportunity to meet with old friends as well as build relationships with new ones.

Special thanks to the Zabwer staff for their super service and scrumptious dinner buffet held in their new air-conditioned dining room. Club Lunch Meeting
Golf Sponsor Appreciation
26 May 2026

Our club lunch meeting on 26 May was another special day to recognize and show our appreciation to the businesses and organizations that supported our 15th Annual Amateur Charity Golf Classic. The tournament has been the primary fundraising event to help implement our community service projects since our first tournament in 2010, and our tournaments are very well-known as a great day of camaraderie, fun and sport on the greens.
From the proceeds generated at our tournaments over the last two years, we were able to purchase a new, fully equipped ambulance and state-of-the-art anesthesia technology for Hua Hin Hospital, with a combined value of THB 5,020,000.
During the meeting President Brian presented the details on our nearly 50 service projects completed since 1 July 2025 plus the additional projects to be completed by the end of this Rotary year on 30 June. Our Golf Organizing Committee presented Certificates of Appreciation to the attending sponsors for their generous donations, and special thanks to Golf Chairman Vice President Michel and the committee members who help make this event the fundraising success that it is every year. Also great thanks to Amari Hua Hin Resort for our partnership over the last 10 years. Rotarian Pascal, the sponsor from Hua Hin Homes won the bottle of wine for the day.
Our 16th Annual Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for 27 November at Pineapple Valley Golf Club and we hope to see you there as we CREATE LASTING IMPACT in the spirit of Rotary!

Police Help Save Lives
Service Project – CPR/AED Training No. 2
Hua Hin Police Department
21 May 2026

The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin organized and sponsored the 2nd phase of the lifesaving training project, “Police Help Save Lives” at the Hua Hin City Municipality headquarters on 21 May. Another 50 officers of the Hua Hin Police Department participated in the 2nd round of training to become proficient in CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage and choking response, led by 15 professional instructors from the Hua Hin Petchkasem Foundation, Hua Hin City Municipality, Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, and Hua Hin Hospital. As police officers can oftentimes be one of the first responders to an emergency situation, two more training sessions are going to be held in groups of 50 to help develop the lifesaving skills of the department’s total of 200 officers stationed in Hua Hin.
In collaboration with our longstanding partner for human development, the “help4people foundation”, we also donated new, state-of-the-art AED equipment to the police department on 9 April that is stored at their headquarters for emergency use in the vicinity.
Police Colonel Kampanat, the Superintendent of the Hua Hin Police Department stated, “It is highly beneficial for the Hua Hin Police Station to have an AED available on site. This device can help save the lives of Thai and foreign tourists in the heart of the city, citizens visiting the station, as well as police officers themselves should an unexpected emergency occur.”
Great thanks to all of these dedicated organizations and volunteers who are at the frontline of public safety, security and service for always supporting our club’s humanitarian initiatives, and special thanks to our club member Rotarian Fay (EMT) for organizing this far-reaching project for the well-being of the Hua Hin community. We UNITE FOR GOOD in the spirit of Rotary!

“Children’s books are a powerful tool to enhance the brain development of a young child, especially their all-important language skills. Stories not only bring happiness and enjoyment, but also add new words to a child’s vocabulary, help them develop and practice their comprehension, and lay the foundation for them to understand the concept of reading.” (UNICEF Thailand, 2024)
