ขอเชิญทุกท่านมาร่วมรับฟังเรื่องราวอันน่าประทับใจที่เปี่ยมด้วยสติปัญญาและความกล้าหาญ ในช่วงเวลาหนึ่งชั่วโมงที่เราจะมาสำรวจความเป็นมาทางประวัติศาสตร์ซึ่งนำไปสู่การลงพระปรมาภิไธยใน "พระบรมราชโองการประกาศเสรีภาพในการนับถือศาสนา" เมื่อวันที่ 8 ตุลาคม ค.ศ. 1878 (พ.ศ. 2421) โดยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 5) ผู้ทรงพระราชทานเสรีภาพทางศาสนาแก่ประชาชนทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย กิจกรรมนี้จะเริ่มในเวลา 19.00 น. และสิ้นสุดในเวลาประมาณ 20.00 น. ของวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 8 ตุลาคม ค.ศ. 2026 ณ คริสตจักรบ้านอธิษฐาน จังหวัดเชียงราย ประเทศไทย การบรรยายจะจัดขึ้นในรูปแบบสองภาษา คือภาษาอังกฤษและภาษาไทยกลาง นอกจากนี้ยังมีการถ่ายทอดสดสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจรับฟังแต่ไม่สามารถมาร่วมงานด้วยตนเองได้ และนี่คือภาพสไลด์สุดท้ายของการนำเสนอของเรา
Invitation to join us for an inspiring story of wisdom and courage as we take an hour of time to explore the historical background that led to the signing of the Royal Edict of Religious Toleration of October 8, 1878 when Rama 5, King Chulalongkorn, the Great, signed providing freedom of religion for all people living in this great country of Thailand. We will begin at 19:00 and finish at approximately 20:00 Thursday October 8, 2026 at Baan Athitaan Church in Chiang Rai, Thailand. This presentation will be bi-lingual with both English and Central Thai. This will also be provided live for those who would like to hear this presentation but are not able to physically be here. Here is a copy of the last slide in our presentation.

ผมสอนเนื้อหาการสร้างสาวก 2:7 ของ The Navigators มานานกว่า 40 ปีแล้ว เพราะผมพบว่า เนื้อหานี้เป็นเนื้อหาการสร้างสาวกที่ดีที่สุดเท่าที่มีอยู่ในปัจจุบันจากมุมมองของ “คริสตจักร” เนื้อหานี้สอนถึงนิสัยต่าง ๆ ที่จะช่วยให้ผู้ติดตามพระเยซูดำเนินชีวิตอย่างมีความชอบธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น และดำเนินชีวิตอย่างมีเป้าหมายมากขึ้น โดยให้ “พระคริสต์” เป็นศูนย์กลางของชีวิต ให้พระวจนะของพระเจ้าเป็นจุดศูนย์กลางของความคิด เรียนรู้ที่จะ “เข้าสนิทอยู่ในเถาองุ่น” เรียนรู้ที่จะอธิษฐานตามพระประสงค์ของพระเจ้า เรียนรู้วิธีปรับคำพูดของเราให้พูดความจริงด้วยความรัก และเลิกใช้คำพูดของเราเป็นอาวุธเพื่อทำร้ายผู้อื่น หรือใช้เป็นช่องทางระบายอารมณ์ที่เกิดจากความคับข้องใจของตนเอง แต่ให้ใช้คำพูดเพื่อนำความหวัง ชีวิต การหนุนใจ และความเมตตาเข้าสู่ชีวิตของผู้อื่น รวมทั้งเรียนรู้นิสัยที่ดีอื่น ๆ อีกมากมาย และเรียนรู้ที่จะร่วมมือกับพระเจ้าในการสร้างคริสตจักรของพระองค์

พระเยซูไม่ทรงต้องการให้เราเอาก้อนหินขว้างใส่เจ้าสาวของพระองค์—คือคริสตจักร—ไม่ใช่เลย แต่พระองค์ทรงต้องการให้เราร่วมกับพระองค์ในการ “สร้างคริสตจักรของพระองค์” ให้เป็นทุกสิ่งที่คริสตจักรสามารถเป็นได้ วิธีหนึ่งที่สำคัญที่สุดที่เราสามารถทำเช่นนั้นได้ คือการมีนิสัยไปคริสตจักรเป็นประจำ

เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา ที่นี่ในภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย ผมกำลังสอนกลุ่ม 2:7 กลุ่มเล็กกลุ่มหนึ่งของผม ซึ่งประกอบด้วยอาจารย์ชาวจีนสองคนจากมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในท้องถิ่น และหนึ่งในประเด็นสำคัญของการสนทนาของเราคือความหมายและการประยุกต์ใช้พระธรรมฮีบรู 10:24-25 ซึ่งกล่าวว่า

I have been using and teaching the Navigator's 2:7 Discipleship materials for over 40 years now because I have found them to be the best discipleship material on the market from a "church" perspective that teaches the habits that lead followers of Jesus to live a more godly life and a life more intentional with "making Christ" the center of your life, letting God's Word be the focal point of your thought life, learning how to "abide in the vine," learning how to pray according to God's will, how to adjust your words to speak truth in love and stop using your words as a weapon to hurt others or as a way to relieve your own frustrated emotions, but use them to bring hope, life, encouragement, and kindness into the lives of others, as well as many other good habits but also learning to join God in building His Church. Jesus doesn't want us to throw stones at His Bride - the Church, no, He want us to join Him in "building His Church" to be all that it can be. One of the most important ways we can do that, it to be in the habit of going to church.

This past Sunday, here in Northern Thailand, I was teaching one of my small 2:7 groups made up of a couple of Chineese professors from one of the Local Universities here and one of the focusses of our discussions was on the meaning and application of Hebrews 10:24-25 that says, "Let us consider how to encourage one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." So, this morning I spent some time working with AI to come up with this visual of "Reasons Why A Christian Should Be In The Habit of Going To Church." Please consider the great value of joining Jesus in His plan and purpose "to build His Church" (Matt 16:18) Don't throw stones at the Bride of Christ but rather join God in making her more beautiful in our World."
