As a long-time law enforcement official, migration was never a foreign concept to Pol.Col. Sirichai. But IOM's training brought a deeper understanding of why well-managed migration matters and what it actually looks like in practice.

Now, he is a trainer himself, passing that knowledge on to fellow law enforcement officials with a simple goal – for every officer to recognize the rights of migrants, regardless of their status.

🌈 Ahead of this year, read about Naphat Krutthai, whose experience as a transgender man and 17-year wait for his first hormone injection drove his advocacy for a society where everyone can live authentically. Following years of activism, Naphat and his partner became one of the first couples to legally register their marriage in Thailand. As he puts it: “Equality is the foundation of prosperity. When laws and policies protect everyone, the community grows together.”
