We had an incredible time at the Siam Grand Hotel in Udon Thani for this year's LDD Academic Conference, focused on "Building Healthy Soils for the Future of Thai Agriculture through Research and Innovation." 🌾

With over 500 researchers, soil doctors, and experts in attendance, CESRA hosted an exhibition showcasing our ongoing work in sustainable soil management and regional cooperation. 📊🤝

Events like this give us the opportunity to share knowledge, receive expert feedback, and strengthen partnerships to support resilient agriculture across Southeast Asia!

The Status of the World’s Soil Resources (SWSR) is one of the most important global assessments of the condition of our soils. Building on the landmark first report published in 2015, this second edition brings together more than a decade of advances in scientific knowledge to provide an updated picture of the major threats affecting soils worldwide. More importantly, it transforms this scientific evidence into knowledge that can support policy makers, land managers and other decision-makers in protecting soil resources and advancing sustainable soil management. Its launch is therefore not simply the release of a report, but an important opportunity to place soils more firmly at the centre of decisions on food security, climate resilience, biodiversity and sustainable land management.
