ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานครต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากบรรษัทเงินทุนระหว่างประเทศเนื่องในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อติดตามผลการประชุมแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับการลงทุนในโครงการขนาดใหญ่ของกรุงเทพมหานครและหารือแนวทางการดำเนินการขั้นตอนต่อไป
เมื่อวันพุธที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2569 เวลา 13.00 น. นายชัชชาติ สิทธิพันธุ์ ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานครให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนจากบรรษัทเงินทุนระหว่างประเทศ (International Finance Corporation: IFC) นำโดย นายวิกราม กูมาร์ (Mr. Vikram Kumar) ผู้อำนวยการอุตสาหกรรมด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติประจำภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก และคณะ เข้าพบเพื่อติดตามผลการประชุมแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับหารลงทุนในโครงการขนาดใหญ่ของกรุงเทพมหานครและหารือแนวทางการดำเนินขั้นตอนต่อไป โดยมีนายพรพรหม ณ.ส. วิกิตเศรษฐ์รองผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานคร ผู้อำนวยการสำนักยุทธศาสตร์และประเมินผล ผู้อำนวยการสำนักดิจิทัลกรุงเทพมหานคร ผู้อำนวยสำนักการคลัง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการต่างประเทศ ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานจัดการคุณภาพน้ำ และข้าราชการสำนักงานการต่างประเทศ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ
ในการหารือครั้งนี้ IFC ได้เสนอการสนับสนุนทางการเงินและคำแนะนำแบบครบวงจรให้แก่กรุงเทพมหานคร ตั้งแต่การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ การจัดทำเงื่อนไขทางการเงิน รูปแบบการดำเนินงานร่วมกับภาคเอกชน รวมถึงเสนอทางเลือกแหล่งเงินทุนที่เหมาะสมไม่ว่าจะเป็นในรูปแบบเงินกู้หรือการออกพันธบัตรสำหรับโครงการต่างๆ เช่น การจัดการน้ำและบำบัดน้ำเสีย โดยได้ยกตัวอย่างความสำเร็จจากเมืองต่าง ๆ ทั้งนี้ ผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานครได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการพิจารณาแนวทางการจัดหาเงินทุนอย่างรอบคอบ โดยเฉพาะผลกระทบต่อสถานะทางการคลังและภาระหนี้ในระยะยาว เพื่อให้การลงทุนในโครงการขนาดใหญ่ไม่สร้างภาระเกินความจำเป็นแก่ประชาชนและคนรุ่นต่อไป
The Governor of Bangkok Welcomed International Finance Corporation’s Delegation on the Occasion of Their Visit to Follow Up on the Outcomes of the Knowledge-Sharing Session on Investment in Bangkok’s Large-Scale Projects and to Discuss the Next Steps for Further Cooperation.
On 19 August 2026 at 13.00 hr., Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok, welcomed International Finance Corporation: IFC’s delegation, led by Mr. Vikram Kumar, and his delegation. The purpose of this visit is to follow up on the knowledge-sharing session on investment in large-scale projects of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and explore possible next steps. In this regard, Mr. Pornphrom Vikitsreth, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Director-General of Strategy and Evaluation Department, Director-General of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Digital Department, Director-General of Finance Department, Director of International Affairs Office, Director of Water Quality Management Office, and officers from International Affairs Office jointly welcomed the delegation.
During the meeting, the IFC offered comprehensive financial support and advisory services to the BMA, ranging from feasibility studies and the development of financing terms to consideration of private sector participation. The IFC also proposed various appropriate financing options, including loans and bonds, for projects such as water management and wastewater treatment, and shared successful examples from other cities. The Governor of Bangkok emphasized the importance of carefully considering financing options, particularly their impact on BMA’s fiscal position and long-term debt obligations, to ensure that investments in large-scale projects do not place an unnecessary burden on the public and future generations.
