พื้นที่หาดใหญ่ สงขลา สตูล ปัตตานี ยะลา นราธิวาส ตรัง พัทลุง และนครศรีธรรมราช กำลังเผชิญวิกฤตอุทกภัยครั้งใหญ่จากฝนที่ตกหนักต่อเนื่อง หลายชุมชนในเมืองและรอบนอกถูกตัดขาดเส้นทางสัญจร บ้านเรือนจำนวนมากจมอยู่ใต้น้ำที่เพิ่มสูงอย่างรวดเร็ว ผู้คนต้องเร่งอพยพออกจากพื้นที่เสี่ยง ขณะที่อีกหลายครอบครัวเลือกอยู่ที่บ้านเพราะไม่ทันเคลื่อนย้ายสิ่งของสำคัญ สถานการณ์ยังไม่นิ่ง และจำนวนผู้ประสบภัยเพิ่มขึ้นทุกชั่วโมง
ในยามที่น้ำไหลท่วมบ้านเร็วกว่าที่ใครคาดคิด สิ่งสำคัญที่สุดคือการช่วยกันประคองชีวิตให้ผ่านคืนนี้ไปด้วยกัน มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ จึงเปิดพื้นที่เป็นศูนย์พักพิงขนาดใหญ่ รองรับผู้ประสบภัยแล้วกว่า 3,000 คน พร้อมตั้งครัวกลางฮาลาลที่ทำอาหารแจกทุกวัน และเป็นจุดรวมกำลังเจ้าหน้าที่กู้ภัยและอาสาสมัครจากพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ที่เดินทางเข้ามาช่วยเหลือ
สิ่งของจำเป็นที่ขาดแคลนที่สุดในตอนนี้ ได้แก่ ผ้าคลุม (ฮิญาบ) รองเท้า ผ้าขนหนู ผ้าห่ม หมอน ฟูก เบาะรองนอน ถุงดำ รวมถึงวัตถุดิบในการทำอาหารปริมาณมาก

- วัตถุดิบสดประกอบอาหารทุกชนิด โดยเฉพาะ ‘ไข่’
- อาหารแห้งสำหรับจัดทำถุงยังชีพ เช่น ข้าวสาร มาม่า อาหารกระป๋อง นม ไข่ ขนม น้ำดื่ม ยาสามัญ ฯลฯ

ทุกชิ้นที่ช่วยส่งมาถึงศูนย์ คือกำลังใจที่แตะต้องได้จริงของผู้ที่สูญเสียบ้านและความมั่นคงในชั่วข้ามคืน ข้อมูลสถานการณ์ล่าสุดวันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2568 เวลา 10.30 น. ระบุว่า ม.อ. ยังคงพร้อมรองรับผู้ประสบภัยเพิ่มเติมอย่างเต็มที่
Hat Yai, Songkhla, Satun, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang, Phatthalung, and Nakhon Si Thammarat are facing a severe flood crisis after days of continuous heavy rainfall. Many communities in both city centers and surrounding districts have become completely cut off. Countless homes are now submerged under rapidly rising water. Families are evacuating from high-risk areas, while many others remain at home because they could not move their essential belongings in time. The situation remains unpredictable, and the number of affected people continues to rise every hour.
In moments when floodwaters rush into homes faster than anyone can prepare for, what matters most is helping one another make it through the night safely. Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus has opened its grounds as a large emergency shelter and is currently hosting more than 3,000 evacuees. The campus has also set up a daily Halal community kitchen and serves as a coordination point for rescue teams and volunteers arriving from multiple districts.
Items currently in critical shortage include hijabs, shoes, towels, blankets, pillows, sleeping mats or mattresses, garbage bags, and large quantities of ingredients for meal preparation. Donations can be delivered to the 1st Floor of the Sports and Health Center, in front of Thailand Post at Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus.
Rescue personnel and volunteers who wish to join field operations may report to Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus or Wat Khok Naw. Both locations are close to each other and convenient for deployment.
Evacuees seeking to reach the PSU shelter can call 087-287-8713 (Yaowalak) or 098-683-5032 (Da) for assistance.
Additional essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, clothing, blankets, sleeping mats, and other necessities can be delivered to the Sports and Recreation Building at the Sports and Health Center next to the Gymnasium at PSU Hat Yai Campus.
Every donated item that reaches the center becomes a real and tangible source of strength for those who lost their homes and sense of security overnight. According to the latest update on 25 November 2025 at 10:30 AM, PSU remains fully prepared to receive and support more evacuees.
