[English below] เมื่อวันที่ 3 กันยายน 2569 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ดุสิตา พึ่งสำราญ รองผู้อำนวยการวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร และ นางสาวอริสรา ทองนพคุณ นักวิเทศสัมพันธ์ สถาบันวิจัยประชากรและสังคม มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในฐานะผู้แทน APA Secretariat เดินทางเยือนกรุงฮานอย ประเทศเวียดนาม เพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ และเปิดโอกาสสู่ความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในอนาคต พร้อมร่วมเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการจัดงาน 7th Asian Population Association Conference (APAC 2026) ซึ่งกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 24–27 พฤศจิกายน 2569 ณ National Economics University (NEU)

ช่วงบ่ายเข้าพบ Bà Đặng Quỳnh Thư, Phó Cục trưởng, Viet Nam Population Authority (VNPA), Ministry of Health และ Mr. Luong Quang Dang, Deputy Director of the Science and International Cooperation Department, Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) และทีมงาน เพื่อหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ การเตรียมความพร้อมและการประสานงานสำหรับ APAC 2026

On 3 September 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Dusita Phungsamran, Deputy Director for International Relations and Corporate Communications, and Arisara Thongnopphakhun, International Relations Officer, Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, representing the APA Secretariat, visited Hanoi, Vietnam, to build connections, strengthen relationships, and explore opportunities for future academic collaboration, while supporting preparations for the 7th Asian Population Association Conference (APAC 2026), to be held on 24–27 November 2026 at National Economics University (NEU).
In the morning, the delegation met with Dao Thanh Tung, PhD, Head of the Department of International Cooperation, NEU, and his team to explore opportunities for research collaboration, student exchange, and academic cooperation, as well as to tour the APAC 2026 venue and discuss conference preparations.
In the afternoon, the delegation met with Bà Đặng Quỳnh Thư, Phó Cục trưởng, Viet Nam Population Authority (VNPA), Ministry of Health, and Mr. Luong Quang Dang, Deputy Director of the Science and International Cooperation Department, Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), together with their teams, to discuss preparations and coordination for APAC 2026.
The visit marked an important step in building networks, connecting institutions, and laying the groundwork for future academic collaboration, while working together toward a successful APAC 2026 as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking among population scholars across Asia.
