วันที่ 4 เมษายน 2569 เครือข่ายอุทยานธรณีประเทศไทย ร่วมจัดนิทรรศการในงานประชุมบรรพชีวินวิทยาสำหรับเยาวชน ครั้งที่ 3 ณ พิพิธภัณฑ์ไม้กลายเป็นหินโคราช ในพื้นที่อุทยานธรณีโลกโคราช

ก้าวสำคัญสู่ความยั่งยืน! 🌍 จับมือ 4 หน่วยงาน ยกระดับ "อุทยานธรณีโลกสตูล" สู่มาตรฐานสากล UNESCO

เมื่อวันที่ 2 เมษายน 2569 ณ ศาลากลางจังหวัดสตูล กรมทรัพยากรธรณี นำโดย นายยงยุทธ นาควิโรจน์ (อธิบดีกรมทรัพยากรธรณี) ได้ร่วมลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ครั้งสำคัญ! ร่วมกับ 3 หน่วยงานพันธมิตร ได้แก่:
• สำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.)
• จังหวัดสตูล
• สำนักงานอุทยานธรณีโลกสตูล
เพื่อร่วมกันผลักดันและพัฒนา "อุทยานธรณีโลกสตูล" (Satun UNESCO Global Geopark) ซึ่งเป็นอุทยานธรณีโลกแห่งแรกของประเทศไทย ให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนในระยะเวลา 5 ปีต่อจากนี้! 🤝✨
💡 สรุปไฮไลต์ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้:
• วช.: สนับสนุนงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมเพื่อยกระดับพื้นที่และชุมชน

A major step towards sustainability! 🌍 4 agencies join hands to elevate "Satun UNESCO Global Geopark" to international UNESCO standards

On 2 April 2026, at the Satun Provincial Hall, the Department of Mineral Resources, led by Mr. Yongyuth Natthawirot (Director-General of the Department of Mineral Resources), signed a major Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)! together with 3 partner agencies, including:
• National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)
• Satun Province
• Satun UNESCO Global Geopark Office

To jointly push forward and develop the "Satun UNESCO Global Geopark", which is the first UNESCO Global Geopark in Thailand, to grow sustainably over the next 5 years! 🤝✨

💡 Summary of highlights from this cooperation:
• NRCT: Support research and innovation to elevate the area and communities.
• Satun Province: Aim to link nature conservation with the economy and the quality of life of the people.
• Department of Mineral Resources: Aim to promote the conservation of geological heritage, learning, and quality tourism.
• Satun UNESCO Global Geopark Office: Move forward to elevate management to be strong according to UNESCO evaluation standards.
