🎬 Nhân dịp kỷ niệm 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam - Thái Lan (1976-2026), Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Thái Lan trân trọng giới thiệu clip “Glimpses of 50 Years” - một tuyển tập nhỏ những câu chuyện, ký ức và chia sẻ từ một số người đã trực tiếp chứng kiến, đồng hành và góp phần vun đắp quan hệ hai nước qua các thế hệ.

Từ những hồi ức của những người từng chứng kiến các chặng đường đầu tiên, đến những câu chuyện được tiếp nối và lưu truyền qua các thế hệ sau, mỗi chia sẻ mang đến một góc nhìn riêng về tình hữu nghị giữa Việt Nam và Thái Lan - những kỷ niệm được gìn giữ, những dấu ấn được trao truyền và những tình cảm tiếp tục được vun đắp theo thời gian.

🎬 On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Thailand (1976-2026), the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand is pleased to present “Glimpses of 50 Years” - a collection of stories, memories, and reflections from those who have witnessed, shared in, and contributed to nurturing the relations between the two countries across generations.

From the memories of those who witnessed the early stages of the relationship to stories passed down and carried forward through generations, each reflection offers a unique perspective on the friendship between Viet Nam and Thailand - memories preserved, experiences passed on, and bonds that continue to be nurtured over time.

🤝 The 50-year diplomatic relationship between Viet Nam and Thailand has been shaped not only by historic milestones, but also by the people, encounters, and bonds nurtured over the years. From these stories, the two countries will continue to write new chapters of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, contributing to peace, stability, and development in the region.

🇻🇳🇹🇭 ĐẠI SỨ QUÁN VIỆT NAM TẠI THÁI LAN TỔ CHỨC LỄ KỶ NIỆM 50 NĂM QUAN HỆ NGOẠI GIAO VÀ 81 NĂM QUỐC KHÁNH TẠI BANGKOK

Tối 18/8/2026, tại The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Thái Lan long trọng tổ chức Lễ kỷ niệm 81 năm Quốc khánh nước CHXHCN Việt Nam và 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Thái Lan (1976–2026), với sự tham dự của Ngài Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Thứ trưởng Ngoại giao Thái Lan; Ngài Anand Panyarachun, nguyên Thủ tướng Thái Lan; Ngài Lertsak Pattanachaikul, Phó Chủ tịch Hạ viện Thái Lan và gần 1.000 đại biểu là quan chức Chính phủ và Quốc hội Thái Lan, thành viên Đoàn Ngoại giao, đại diện các tổ chức quốc tế, bạn bè, đối tác và cộng đồng người Việt Nam tại Thái Lan.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng nhấn mạnh 50 năm qua là giai đoạn quan hệ Việt Nam – Thái Lan phát triển năng động nhất, đưa quan hệ hai nước lên mức độ tốt đẹp và sâu sắc nhất trong lịch sử. Việc thiết lập Đối tác Chiến lược Toàn diện năm 2025 đã mở ra một chương mới, tạo động lực đưa hợp tác song phương ngày càng đi vào chiều sâu, thực chất và hiệu quả. Đại sứ cũng chia sẻ định hướng phát triển của Việt Nam sau thành công của Đại hội XIV của Đảng, khẳng định Việt Nam mong muốn tiếp tục đóng góp tích cực vào hòa bình, ổn định, hợp tác và phát triển ở khu vực và trên thế giới.

Đại diện Chính phủ Hoàng gia Thái Lan, Thứ trưởng Ngoại giao Vijavat Isarabhakdi gửi lời chúc mừng nồng nhiệt tới Chính phủ và nhân dân Việt Nam nhân Quốc khánh và dấu mốc 50 năm quan hệ ngoại giao, đồng thời đánh giá cao đà phát triển mạnh mẽ của quan hệ hai nước, thể hiện qua các chuyến thăm cấp cao diễn ra liên tiếp trong tháng 5 và tháng 6/2026.

🌿 Tại sự kiện, Đại sứ quán mang đến một không gian văn hóa Việt Nam đặc sắc, nơi những giá trị truyền thống được giới thiệu qua âm nhạc, ẩm thực và mỹ thuật.

🎶 Chương trình “Giai điệu đồng hành” do các nghệ sĩ Nhạc viện TP. Hồ Chí Minh biểu diễn giới thiệu Nhã nhạc cung đình Huế, Quan họ, dân ca Nam Bộ cùng các nhạc cụ truyền thống như đàn bầu, T’rưng, sáo trúc. Đặc biệt, các nghệ sĩ Việt Nam cũng trình diễn Loy Krathong và Sabai Sabai của Thái Lan, tạo nên không gian giao lưu văn hóa gần gũi, giàu cảm xúc.

🍜 Ẩm thực Cung đình Huế, được trực tiếp chuẩn bị bởi các nghệ nhân Huế, giới thiệu nghệ thuật ẩm thực tinh tế qua các tác phẩm Phượng Vũ, Lưỡng long chầu ngọc, Khổng tước khai bình và Bánh Cố Đô, gửi gắm những lời chúc về thịnh vượng, may mắn và tình hữu nghị bền chặt giữa hai dân tộc.

📸 Triển lãm “Hành trình đối tác” với 40 bức ảnh tái hiện những dấu mốc quan trọng trong chặng đường 50 năm quan hệ Việt Nam – Thái Lan, từ khi thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao năm 1976 đến những chuyến thăm cấp cao gần đây. Trong khi đó, triển lãm “Sắc màu hữu nghị” của họa sĩ Nguyễn Hồng Tuấn mang đến những góc nhìn giàu cảm xúc về cảnh sắc, con người và đời sống hai đất nước, qua đó khắc họa những giá trị chung và sự gắn kết giữa hai dân tộc.

🇻🇳🇹🇭 EMBASSY OF VIET NAM IN THAILAND HOSTS RECEPTION TO COMMEMORATE 50 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS AND THE 81ST NATIONAL DAY IN BANGKOK

On the evening of 18 August 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand hosted a reception to commemorate the 81st National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the 50th Anniversary of Viet Nam–Thailand Diplomatic Relations (1976–2026). The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand; H.E. Mr. Anand Panyarachun, former Prime Minister of Thailand; H.E. Mr. Lertsak Pattanachaikul, Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Thailand, and nearly 1,000 guests, including Thai parliamentary and government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of international organisations, friends, partners and the Vietnamese community in Thailand.

In his remarks, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung emphasised that the past five decades have witnessed the most dynamic development in Viet Nam–Thailand relations, bringing bilateral ties to their strongest and most flourishing point in history. The establishment of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2025 opened a new chapter, providing fresh momentum for deeper, more substantive and effective cooperation. The Ambassador also shared Viet Nam’s development orientations following the successful 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, reaffirming Viet Nam’s commitment to making active contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Representing the Royal Thai Government, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Vijavat Isarabhakdi extended his warm congratulations to the Government and people of Viet Nam on the occasion of the National Day and the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. He also highlighted the strong momentum in bilateral ties, reflected in the reciprocal high-level visits in May and June 2026.

🌿 The reception also featured a vibrant showcase of Vietnamese culture through music, cuisine and visual arts.

🎶 “Melodies of Togetherness”, performed by artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, introduced guests to Hue Royal Court Music, Quan họ folk singing, Southern Vietnamese folk music and traditional instruments such as the đàn bầu (monochord), T’rưng and bamboo flute. The artists also performed the Thai classics Loy Krathong and Sabai Sabai, creating a warm and meaningful space for cultural exchange between the two peoples.

🍜 Hue Royal Cuisine, specially prepared by culinary artisans from Hue, showcased the sophistication of Vietnamese culinary heritage through artistic creations including “Phoenix Dance,” “Dragon Releasing the Pearl,” “Royal Peacock” and “Co Do Royal Cake,” conveying wishes for prosperity, good fortune and enduring friendship between Viet Nam and Thailand.

📸 The exhibition “A Journey of Partnership” featured 40 photographs tracing key milestones in five decades of Viet Nam–Thailand relations, from the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1976 to recent high-level visits. Meanwhile, “Colors We Share”, an exhibition by Vietnamese painter Nguyen Hong Tuan, offered evocative perspectives on the landscapes, people and everyday life of the two countries, highlighting their shared values and the enduring bonds between the two peoples.

Sáng 11/8, tại Đại sứ quán Lào ở Bangkok, Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng dẫn đầu đoàn Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Thái Lan đến viếng và ghi sổ tang tưởng niệm Chủ tịch Quốc hội Lào Saysomphone Phomvihane. Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng cùng cán bộ, nhân viên Đại sứ quán và các cơ quan bên cạnh dành một phút mặc niệm, bày tỏ niềm tiếc thương sâu sắc trước sự ra đi của Chủ tịch Quốc hội Lào. Trong sổ tang, Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng bày tỏ niềm tiếc thương vô hạn trước sự ra đi của Chủ tịch Quốc hội Saysomphone Phomvihane, nhà lãnh đạo xuất sắc, có nhiều công lao quan trọng đối với sự nghiệp xây dụng, phát triển đất nước Lào, đồng thời có nhiều đóng góp quý báu trong việc vun đắp quan hệ hữu nghị vĩ đại, đoàn kết đặc biệt, hợp tác toàn diện, gắn kết chiến lược Việt Nam – Lào. Chia sẻ với Đại sứ Lào tại Thái Lan Sisavath Inphachanh, Đại sứ Phạm Việt Hùng nhấn mạnh Việt Nam luôn ghi nhớ và trân trọng những cống hiến của Chủ tịch Quốc hội Saysomphone Phomvihane đối với quan hệ đặc biệt Việt Nam – Lào. VIETNAMESE EMBASSY DELEGATION IN THAILAND PAYS TRIBUTE TO LAO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY PRESIDENT

On the morning of August 11, at the Embassy of Laos in Bangkok, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung led a delegation from the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand to pay tribute and sign the condolence book in memory of Lao National Assembly President Saysomphone Phomvihane.

Ambassador Pham Viet Hung, together with Embassy officials, staff and representatives of the affiliated agencies, observed a minute of silence and expressed their profound sorrow over the passing of the Lao National Assembly President.

In the condolence book, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung expressed his profound grief over the passing of President Saysomphone Phomvihane, an outstanding leader who made significant contributions to the cause of national construction and development in Laos, as well as valuable contributions to fostering the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and strategic cohesion between Viet Nam and Laos.

In his meeting with Lao Ambassador to Thailand Sisavath Inphachanh, Ambassador Pham Viet Hung emphasized that Viet Nam will always remember and deeply appreciate President Saysomphone Phomvihane’s contributions to the special relationship between Viet Nam and Laos.

Ambassador Sisavath Inphachanh expressed his appreciation for the Vietnamese Embassy delegation’s visit to pay tribute and sign the condolence book, considering it a testament to the close, steadfast and profound bonds between the two Parties, the two States and the peoples of the two countries. He expressed his confidence that the two Embassies would continue to maintain close coordination, regularly share information and experience, and support and assist each other in their respective work.

LỄ KỶ NIỆM 59 NĂM ASEAN TẠI BANGKOK, THÁI LAN

Nhân dịp kỷ niệm 59 năm Ngày ASEAN (8/8/1967–8/8/2026), ngày 7/8, Bộ Ngoại giao Thái Lan tổ chức Lễ thượng cờ ASEAN tại trụ sở Bộ Ngoại giao, với sự tham dự của các Đại sứ, Đại biện và đại diện các cơ quan ngoại giao các nước ASEAN, Đối tác đối thoại, Đối tác đối thoại theo lĩnh vực và Đối tác phát triển của ASEAN. Đại biện lâm thời Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Thái Lan Hoàng Diễm Hạnh tham dự buổi lễ.
Phát biểu tại sự kiện, Phó Thủ tướng, Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao Thái Lan Sihasak Phuangketkeow nhấn mạnh Ngày ASEAN năm nay là dịp nhìn lại gần 6 thập kỷ xây dựng và phát triển ASEAN, hướng tới tương lai với mục tiêu và quyết tâm rõ ràng.
Bộ trưởng Sihasak khẳng định ASEAN đã trở thành động lực tăng trưởng và nền tảng cho đối thoại, hợp tác và quan hệ đối tác bao trùm; nhấn mạnh cần tiếp tục củng cố đoàn kết nội khối, tăng cường gắn kết với thế giới và hợp tác với các đối tác, qua đó nâng cao khả năng chống chịu và thúc đẩy thịnh vượng chung. Là một trong 5 nước sáng lập và nơi ASEAN được thành lập năm 1967, Thái Lan khẳng định tiếp tục đóng vai trò tích cực, xây dựng và tin cậy trong ASEAN, phối hợp với các nước thành viên và đối tác để gìn giữ di sản, làm mới mục tiêu và xây dựng một ASEAN mạnh mẽ hơn cho thế hệ tương lai.
Trong khuôn khổ sự kiện, Bộ Ngoại giao Thái Lan tổ chức các gian trưng bày về một số thành tựu và sáng kiến tiêu biểu của Thái Lan trong ASEAN, đặc biệt trong lĩnh vực phát triển bền vững, cùng các hoạt động tương tác, trò chơi và in logo trên tặng phẩm, nhằm nâng cao nhận thức của công chúng Thái Lan, đặc biệt là học sinh, sinh viên về ASEAN và những đóng góp của ASEAN đối với khu vực.

59TH ASEAN DAY COMMEMORATION IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

On the occasion of the 59th ASEAN Day (8 August 1967–8 August 2026), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand held an ASEAN Flag-Raising Ceremony at its headquarters on 7 August, attended by Ambassadors, Chargés d’Affaires and representatives of diplomatic missions of ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Dialogue Partners, Sectoral Dialogue Partners and Development Partners. Ms. Hoang Diem Hanh, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand, attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, H.E. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, emphasized that this year’s ASEAN Day provides an opportunity to reflect on nearly six decades of ASEAN’s establishment and development, while looking ahead with clear goals and determination.

Minister Sihasak affirmed that ASEAN has become a driver of growth and a foundation for inclusive dialogue, cooperation and partnerships. He stressed the need to continue strengthening intra-ASEAN unity, enhancing ASEAN’s engagement with the wider world and deepening cooperation with partners, thereby strengthening resilience and promoting shared prosperity. As one of ASEAN’s five founding members and the country where ASEAN was established in 1967, Thailand reaffirmed its commitment to playing a constructive, active and trusted role in ASEAN, working closely with Member States and partners to preserve ASEAN’s legacy, renew its aspirations and build a stronger ASEAN for future generations.

As part of the event, the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized exhibition booths showcasing Thailand’s notable achievements and initiatives within ASEAN, particularly in the area of sustainable development. The event also featured interactive activities, games and ASEAN logo printing on souvenirs, aimed at raising public awareness in Thailand, especially among school and university students, about ASEAN and its contributions to the region.

Chiều ngày 7/8, Đại biện lâm thời Đại sứ quán Việt Nam tại Thái Lan Hoàng Diễm Hạnh đã tiếp bà Piyaporn Sankosik, Tổng Giám đốc Công ty TPN Global, cùng Hoa hậu Thế giới Thái Lan 2026 Kanteera Techaphattanakul và đoàn Miss World Thailand 2026 tại Đại sứ quán.

Cuộc gặp diễn ra trong dịp Hoa hậu Kanteera chuẩn bị đại diện Thái Lan tham dự Miss World lần thứ 75 tại Việt Nam trong thời gian tới.

Tại buổi gặp, Đại biện Hoàng Diễm Hạnh nhấn mạnh 2026 là năm hai nước Việt Nam – Thái Lan kỷ niệm 50 năm thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao, đồng thời bày tỏ tin tưởng những hoạt động giao lưu như Miss World sẽ góp phần tạo thêm những dấu ấn ý nghĩa trong giao lưu văn hóa, tăng cường kết nối nhân dân và vun đắp tình hữu nghị giữa hai nước.

On the afternoon of 7 August, Mrs. Hoang Diem Hanh, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Thailand, received Ms. Piyaporn Sankosik, Managing Director of TPN Global, together with Ms. Kanteera Techaphattanakul, Miss World Thailand 2026, and the Miss World Thailand 2026 delegation at the Embassy.

The meeting took place as Ms. Kanteera prepares to represent Thailand at the 75th Miss World, to be held in Viet Nam in the coming period.

During the meeting, Mrs. Hoang Diem Hanh highlighted that 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Thailand, and expressed her hope that people-to-people and cultural exchanges such as Miss World will contribute to creating meaningful moments of cultural exchange, strengthening people-to-people connections, and further nurturing the friendship between the two countries.
