In terms of trade development, Cambodia has actively participated in global and regional trade integration. It has exported to 147 countries in the world which accounts for 60% of GDP and imported from 135 countries about 65% of GDP. At the present, Cambodian government is offering a generous package of incentives to foreign investors who want to establish their companies in Cambodia. Enterprises
registered in Cambodia may be owned 100% by foreign investors; have full foreign exchange convertibility, and can repatriate profit without restrictions. The Investment Law provides full guarantee for NO discrimination, NO nationalization, NO requirement of local entity participation, NO price controls, NO restrictions on foreign exchanges, and NO capital control.
