[English Below] วันที่ 24 สิงหาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเช็กประจำประเทศไทย และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ประจำกรุงปราก ร่วมกับ Ministry of Industry and Trade แห่งสาธารณรัฐเช็ก และ CzechInvest ได้พาคณะผู้แทน Startups ด้านเทคโนโลยีสัญชาติเช็กจำนวน 6 บริษัท 🇨🇿🚀 เพื่อเปิดโอกาสทางธุรกิจใหม่ๆ รวมถึงการสร้างเครือข่ายกับพันธมิตร และการแลกเปลี่ยนเทคโนโลยีระหว่างไทย-เช็ก

ภายใต้โครงการดังกล่าว คณะผู้แทนได้เยี่ยมชม สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล (depa) หน่วยงานภาครัฐของไทยที่มีบทบาทในการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล สตาร์ทอัพ และโซลูชันด้านเมืองอัจฉริยะ รวมถึงมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี (RMUTT) โดยถือเป็นการสานต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเช็กและ RMUTT ซึ่งต่อยอดจากการลงนาม MoU ที่ RMUTT ร่วมกับ Technical University of Liberec (TUL) สาธารณรัฐเช็ก

สถานเอกอักครราชทูตฯ มีความยินดี และพร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนความร่วมมือ รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนเทคโนโลยี ระหว่างประเทศต่อไปในอนาคตอันใกล้นี้ 🤝🇹🇭

On 24 August 2026, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok, the Royal Thai Embassy in Prague, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, and CzechInvest brought together a delegation of six Czech technology startups 🇨🇿🚀 to explore new business opportunities, build networks with potential partners, and promote technology exchange between Thailand and the Czech Republic.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), a Thai government agency supporting the development of the digital economy, digital technologies, startups, and Smart City solutions. The delegation also visited Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), further strengthening cooperation between the Czech Republic and RMUTT following the signing of an MoU between RMUTT and the Technical University of Liberec (TUL), Czech Republic.

The Embassy is pleased to support and facilitate continued cooperation and technology exchange between Thailand and the Czech Republic in the near future. 🤝🇹🇭

🇨🇿🤝🇹🇭 Strengthening Czech–Thai Innovation Cooperation

On 24 August 2026, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) welcomed the Czech Technology Startup Delegation, bringing together six Czech startups for discussions with RMUTT researchers and relevant stakeholders.

The meeting explored opportunities for cooperation in technology testing and pilot projects, research and development, technology commercialisation and licensing, as well as business matchmaking.

The Embassy greatly appreciates RMUTT’s continued support and longstanding cooperation with the Czech Republic, and we look forward to further developing opportunities for Czech–Thai innovation and technology partnerships. 🚀

On 20 August 2026, the Department of Agriculture of Thailand and the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand held the 16th Informal Contact Group (ICM) meeting.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Thailand's procedures for approving imports of plants and plant products from EU Member States, as well as to discuss ways to address potential trade barriers and facilitate agricultural trade between Thailand and the EU.

The Czech Republic, together with other EU Member States, continues to support constructive dialogue and close cooperation with Thai authorities on agricultural trade and market access. 🤝🌱

🌏🤝 Strengthening international connections in Bangkok

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Bangkok was pleased to join the “Friends of Bangkok” gathering hosted by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) at Lumpini Park.

The event brought together representatives from the diplomatic community, international organisations, business associations and the private sector to strengthen connections and explore opportunities for investment, economic cooperation and partnerships in Bangkok.

We look forward to further strengthening cooperation between the Czech Republic and Bangkok and exploring new opportunities together. 🌱🏙️

We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire in a Bangkok eatery that took the lives of at least 27 people and injured many more. The Czech Embassy in Bangkok offers its sincere condolences to the families who lost loved ones and stands with the community during this difficult time. President Petr Pavel has also sent his condolences, expressing solidarity with everyone affected.
