The first hours of our last shift at the Siam Nonthaburi Foundation rescue base were quiet. Then things changed fast. We got two calls with only a short break in between. One was a vehicle incident, the other a medical situation. Both needed quick action and steady teamwork.

Shifts like this show how fast the pace can shift and why it’s important to stay ready, even on calm days.

Day 3 — Phetchaburi Search Mission
Today, another team found the missing woman at the bottom of a steep hill.
From the top, the way down was very hard to reach. From below, still rough with thorns and rocks.
She didn’t make it home, but she’s no longer lost.
Now the team will return home — tired, but thankful to have been part of the search.
May she rest in peace. 🤍

First day of search in Phetchaburi.
The weather was extreme, the terrain rough, and walking through thorns made every step a challenge.
No finding today — but every search brings us one step closer. 💛

This evening I spent time at the Siam Nonthaburi Foundation rescue base. It was a busy shift with many calls and several accidents. Every case showed how quickly things can change and why it’s so important to stay prepared. Luckily, no one was severely injured, and everyone got the care they needed.

Nights like this remind me what rescue work is about—teamwork, focus, and being there when people need help the most.
