Last week, MI welcomed a delegation from Lancang-Mekong Energy Consulting (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (MECC), a wholly owned subsidiary of China Southern Power Grid Lancang-Mekong International Co., Ltd. (CSG-LMI), to discuss further regional energy cooperation in the Lancang-Mekong (LM) region. 🌱⚡

The visit builds on the growing partnership between MI and MECC, which began with MECC’s first visit to MI in July 2024. Since then, the collaboration has advanced through a regional energy forum in Vientiane, Lao PDR, in Nov 2024, and a 2025 research initiative on power enterprise governance in the LM region.

Together, MI and MECC reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening regional energy connectivity, sustainable development, and cooperation across the region. 🤝🌏
