قصيدة من إحدى أصدقاء الثورة من اسبانيا

When the autumn turns it's corner,
where the people turn their heads
to see the warm wind keep on blowing
the flag of black, green white-and-red.
Where the trees give out their citrics
and the pomegranates bleed,
where the children are more than infinite
like the smiles and tales of need.
Where my soul is the closest
to the truth of human kind,
where people had to run to
but left their lives behind.
Let us dream about a travel,
to your home, your Land of Light.
Can we put aside the troubles
to focus on freedom's fight?
Will you meet me at the border
of the passionate Bab al-Hawa?
I will smile if you answer

02/03/2014 || سنة مضت على اعتقال طالب كلية الفنون الزميل باسل شبعان، كتبت والدته اليوم:

"سنة تجي وتروح
سنة من اقصى السنوات علينا
لاانسى في مثل هذا اليوم الخبر الذي كسرظهري وابكاني بكاء شق له عنان السماء وكانت فيه الليالي والايام الغصة تلو الغصة ومن صدمة لصدمة اكبر من اختها
وهاهو حال عليك الحول ياولدي خلف القضبان لاتعرف ليلك من نهارك وانت تنتظر الفرج وكانت االوعود فيها كثيرة والاكاذيب كثيرة ولكن حسن ظني بربي وحسن التوكل عليه هوالذي صبرني ويصبرك بإذن الله ولابد من الليل أن ينجلي وللنور أن ينقشع فلا تيأس ياولدي مهما طال بك الكرب وأدعوالله أن يعينك على مصيبتك بالصبر والصلاة واعلم أنه لاحول ولاقوة إلابالله وأدعوالله أن يعوضك خيرا وأن لايخيب امالك فيما تمنيت وأن لايطيلها علينا وأن يجعلها منحة لامحنة إنه سميع ﻣﺠﻴﺐ"
