Today marks a historic moment and a profound blessing as I return to my roots in Western Equatoria State, following an extended period of engagement in the national service.

โ€œI have come home. As we all know, home is home. My absence has been occasioned by the exigencies of national duty. Now that I am off official duty, I deemed it imperative to return home and interact directly with my people and share this valuable time together.โ€

I stand proudly to express my appreciation to H.E President Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit for the trust placed in the newly promoted Lt. Gen. Elia Costa.

This promotion shows the commitment of Western Equatoria at the national level and our contribution to serving the people of South Sudan.

The timing is perfect. It uplifts the people of Western Equatoria State. Lt. Gen. Costa is a man of wisdom and dedication, and he truly deserves this recognition for his service to our citizens.

I also take this opportunity to appeal to H.E the President on behalf of Western Equatoria citizens: we still need more lieutenant generals and other ranks promotions from our state in the organized forces.

Dear my brother James Gabriel , and the entire family.

On behalf of my family, I extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences on the passing of our beloved sister, Dr. Linda Albert.

This is an immeasurable loss for your family, the Azande community, and the entire nation of South Sudan. I know how tirelessly the family prayed and stood by her throughout her illness, hoping for her recovery. God, in His infinite wisdom, has called her home, and while we may not understand His timing, we trust His will.

Dr. Linda was a hardworking, ambitious, and visionary young lady who was deeply passionate about the well-being of her people. I vividly remember the last time I visited her in Nairobi. Even though she was fully aware of the seriousness of her illness, she did not dwell on her own suffering. Instead, we had a meaningful discussion about how the Government of South Sudan should invest more in the health of its people by building specialized hospitals in Juba and strengthening our healthcare system, so that our citizens would no longer have to travel abroad to seek specialized medical treatment. That conversation reflected her selflessness, foresight, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others. Even in the face of illness, she continued to think about the future of her country.

My heart also goes out to the children she has left behind. May God watch over them, protect them, and guide them throughout their lives. I also extend my sincere condolences to her beloved husband and his family, her relatives, colleagues, friends, and the Azande women, who have lost an exceptional daughter, sister, colleague, mentor, and role model.

Although I am currently in Kampala, my thoughts, prayers, and spirit are with you all. I will join you as soon as I can.

May God grant comfort, strength, and peace to everyone mourning this great loss.

May the soul of our beloved sister, Dr. Linda , rest in eternal peace. Amen.

My Deepest Condolences to our South Sudanese Families in Uganda- Worldwide ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the death of our beloved children from King David Primary School - Kampala, who tragically lost their lives in a school bus accident at Kapchorwa District, Uganda.

According to the Ugandan Police Force, at least 24 people, 22 schoolchildren and 2 adults have been confirmed dead, and many others are still hospitalized receiving treatment. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

To every South Sudanese parent, family, and loved one โ€” we grieve with you.
In this dark moment, may God be our comfort and our strength.

My sincere appreciation to the Embassy of South Sudan in Uganda, led by H.E. the Ambassador, for standing with our people and supporting the affected families. Your leadership and compassion mean so much. And to the doctors, nurses, and everyone caring for the injured students โ€” thank you for your selfless service.

To strengthen our institutions and protect our natural resources in order to foster more developmental activities and embrace cultural heritage accountability .

As well the Bible stated that Peace begins with each of us, let us reject division, and embrace dialogue, reconciliation and mutual respect as the foundation of lasting peace.

The greatest resource is not only oil and land, it is the people and especially the youth.
