In it's sustained government’s efforts to retrieve all government lands from the squatters through the newly instituted adhoc Committee for demolition, the committee has today loudly reclaimed a pice of land that was designated by the State authorities to Eastern Equatoria State Government for it's coordination office construction.

This comes following today's expansive crackdown on the illegal occupants within the vicinity of Juba City.

The committee further calls all the illegal occupants to vacate all structures that were already mapped by the authorities as they escalate on their day- to-day operations.

Enough is enough!ces demolition committee, Jcc demolishes structures illegally erected in school lands in Juba City

Juba Thursday 18th April 2024

The Central Equatoria State Demolition Committee headed by the State Security Advisor to the Governor, Hon. Angelo Daya, together with the 1st Deputy Mayor for Finance and Administration of Juba City Council,H.W Mogga Franco Wani have embarked on structural demolition exercise on illegally exercted structures within the public school lands in Juba City.

The authorities have re-directed the illegal occupants to vacate the school premises or face the law accordingly.

The committee further warned citizens from taking the law into their hands,stating that,the committee would continue demolishing all the illegally erected structures in the already mapped schools as the second phase looms.

In this extensive exercise were;State Minister of Roads and Bridges, Hon. Mawa A. Moses,Minister of Housing, Lands and Public Utilities, Hon. Frederick Lako Raymond and other security apparatus.

The exercise today was carried out in Dar es salaam primary school, Juba 1 Boys, and Juba Girls, respectively.

PACIFIC’S STRIKES IN KONYOKONYO MARKET BY VENDORS IN JUBA YESTERDAY.

SATURDAY 23 MARCH 2024.

The Authorities of Juba City Council headed by H.W the Mayoress Flora Gabriel Modi has paid a courtesy call to Konyokonyo’s market in Juba yesterday, to acquaint themselves with the Vendor’s situation in the market.

This came after a pacific’s strike that’s organized by Women’s Vendors in order to stop the construction of the new commercial building on their business space that has been sold out by some people.

Addressing the Vendors during the visit, Mayoress Flora assured their willingness to stand by the Vendors. She further commands to stop the construction and re-directed the Legal Advisors to keep going with the investigations.

Her Worship the Mayoress was accompanied by her deputy for Environment and Waste management H.W Emmanuel Juma Diyo together with the Director of Kator Block Council Paulino Pitia and other Officers.
