As deputy Mayor for Land and Physical Infrastructure Bor Municipal Council (BMC) I'm personally appreciating the role played by the lordship the Mayor of Bor Municipal Council, Hon Samuel Ateny Pech Ariik by giving concern to land department to kicked off some of its activities that was started with allotment of Referendum block in collaboration with the State Ministry of Housing, Land and Public Utilities plus Bor County Authority, beside this also land tittle deed has been officially announced by Bor Municipal Council and the Ministry of Housing Land and Public Utilities for following essential reasons:-
1. Verification of plot number against your name and its registration.
2. Provision for contract of land lease agreement between you and the Ministry of Housing, Land and Public Utilities to provide you with ownership of property of land title deed, that allows you to take loans from all financial institutions at state and elsewhere in the republic of South Sudan, and so on and so forth.

Water ways and d**e construction within and around Bor town top our Priorities. Many thanks to our state government under the leadership of our governor Hon. Denay Jock Chagor and the ARC company for strongly standing to support this project.

We can only rest when our people residing within Bor town and the peripheral areas are free from flooding.

The Municipal Council leadership under our able Mayor G*i Makhoor Leek appreciates the support of our partners including every residents and promise to do the needful for the population living in Bor.

We today received the SPLMYL Interim Chairperson of Jonglei State Cde. Makwei Achol Thiong accompanied by his team.
The Chairperson thank the Lord Mayor Cde G*i Makhoor Leek for his commitment to improving drainage in town.
The Lord Mayor on the other hand promised to support the SPLMYL-Interim leadership of Jonglei state.
