Key Responsibilities

A. Laser and Skin Treatments

• Perform laser procedures such as:
• Laser hair reduction
• Skin rejuvenation
• Pigmentation treatments
• Acne and acne-scar laser treatments
• Vascular lesion treatments
• Carbon (Hollywood) laser facials
• Conduct patch tests and ensure client safety before any procedure.
• Apply other non-laser treatments when trained (e.g., chemical peels, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial).

B. Client Care & Assessment

• Welcome clients and perform detailed skin consultations.
• Take medical history to confirm treatment suitability.
• Explain procedures, benefits, risks, expected results, and aftercare instructions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on skin condition.

C. Safety & Compliance

• Follow laser safety standards and manufacturer protocols.
• Ensure proper calibration and safe operation of laser equipment.
• Maintain a hygienic treatment environment and follow infection-prevention guidelines.
• Ensure use of protective eyewear and adherence to safety policies.

D. Documentation & Reporting

• Record all treatments, progress notes, and client concerns.
• Maintain client confidentiality and secure medical records.
• Report equipment issues to management immediately.

E. Customer Service & Professionalism

• Greet clients warmly and maintain a positive, respectful attitude.
• Provide honest, ethical advice without overpromising results.
• Handle client feedback or concerns professionally.

F. Teamwork & Clinic Support

• Support the clinic team in daily operations.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to service improvement.
• Help maintain stock and treatment materials.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Laser Therapy, Aesthetic Therapy, Dermatology Assistant studies, or related field.
• Certified training in laser safety and laser device operation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of skin types and common dermatological conditions.
• Excellent communication and explanation skills.
• High attention to safety, detail, and hygiene.
• Ability to handle clients calmly and professionally.
• Good time management and multitasking.
• Perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and scar/pigmentation treatments.
• Conduct skin consultations and aftercare guidance.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and proper laser calibration.
• Minimum 3years’ experience in dermatology or Aesthetic Clinic
