The Nmcp Somalia Goverment Ministry of Health- Somalia and Wasaaradda Caafimaadka Dowlada Hirshabelle , with support from the World Health Organization (WHO), are taking urgent action in District to fight malaria and emerging diseases such as dengue and chikungunya.

The spread of and mosquitoes is rapidly increasing, creating serious public health concerns. To reduce mosquito populations and protect families, Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) will focus on public facilities and IDP camps.

Working together to safeguard health and stop outbreaks before they spread.

Nmcp Somalia Goverment has conducted Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) alongside Space Spray for IDPs & vulnerable communities in targeted sites. All activities followed World Health Organization (WHO) standard guidelines & protocols. Grateful for the strong support from The Global Fund .
