ACEED International: The Social Enterprise ACEED provides a dynamic combination of business development and ownership ,community regeneration expertise and economic development.

ACEED is a professionally managed committed social enterprise company created in June, 2012 to tackle the high rate of unemployment and poverty in Puntland and is active in community em-powerment and business development. The primary focus of ACEED is on the problems of the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Small business development and empower-ment of the community

for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. ACEED supports youth and women-led efforts to build business development that promotes in an ecologically sustainable manner and equitably distributes across genders. ACEED also promotes democracy and supports women and youth to have equal participation in political process and public life, in order to improve their lives, families and societies. Not only is their civic and political engagement a human right, their participation is crucial for promoting thriving civil societies and functioning democracies.
