The vice president of Galmudug state of Somalia,Mr Ali Dahir Eid chaired a meeting to hear a report from Galmudug good governance and anti-corruption agency.
The meeting was attended by all the institutions that work closely with the agency which are mostly important to the agency such as the Ministry of justice, chairperson of the supreme court, Audit general of Galmudug , ministry of Finance, Ministry of internal Security, Ministry Humanitarian and Disaster Management and Galmudug Division police Chief.
The Director general of Galmudug good governance and anti- corruption agency was presented the general report of the progress made by the agency after implemented four months ago and challenges was faced. However, the agency looks towards the future, it was focused on strengthening its capabilities, expanding and collaboration with national and international partners, while further enhancing its impact on the lives of the people of Galmudug.
Finally the vice president of Galmudug instructed all the institution to work closely while he was engages to the agency director to conduct public awareness campaigns to educate government institution on the importance of good governance and the role they can play in combating corruption.
